Pre-Game-3 Workout

Sunny skies called me outside for a quickie WOD before the Vancouver Canucks took on the Nashville Predators in game 3 of the second round of the Western Conference Semi Finals.

I took a breather after 21-18 and after 15 but I pushed through the 12-9-6-3 which actually was 12-9-9. Lots of sweat and lots of second guessing myself during the WOD but somehow I found a way to push though and finish off strong!

I was planning on doing 9-6-3 but I crashed during my 12 box jumps and hurt my left shin. Ouch. I now have ice on it so hopefully the bruise won't be too bad!

Today's workout was taken from www.bodyrock.tv which is an awesome website with lots of killer workouts. I took my time with lots of breaks so I didn't get too tired and quit!

  • Lunge Back & Press Up - 16kg kettle bell - 50 reps
  • Super Girl Plank - 50 reps
  • Sumo Squat - 15lb dumb bell - 50 reps
  • Reptile Plank - 50 reps
  • Jump Lunge - 50 reps
  • Santana Plank - 50 reps
  • Jump Forward and 2 jumps back - 50 reps
  • Mini Squats - 15lb dumb bell- 50 reps
