Because I didn`t get enough at the CFL box this morning, I hit the gym while on shift and took a co-worker along for the ride. I warmed up with 30 box jumps then engaged it the following pain:
5 Rounds
Run 2 minutes fast pace
20 Air Squats
20 Sit Ups
20 Push Ups
Total time was about 25 minutes and my partner didnt even make it through two rounds. He said the running and the air squats make his legs feel like jelly and he almost puked. I admit that my dinner was sloshing around in my stomach too but I powered through. After his two pathetic rounds (minus the situps the second round) he told me he had been defeated and that I had kicked his ass. I also remember something about me being an animal but it`s all what you`re used to. I know I couldnt play hockey to save my life...but that`s because I lack the skill- I know I can rip it up on the ice and go hard thanks to Crossfit! Later in the evening, when we went back out on the road, he was feeling inferior so he told me he wanted to take me golfing or skiing so he could redeem himself and kick my ass. The whole ordeal was pretty entertaining and he has agreed to try again after recovering for a few days. Phil if you`re reading this, you did just fine... can`t wait for next time!
