Usually on Saturdays Coach puts us through metabolic-conditioning hell. Today was different and I don't know why but I was ok with the change :)
Front Squats
3x 95lbs
3x 115lbs
1x 125lbs
1x 135lbs
1x 145lbs

1x 155lbs Failed
Rack Jerk
3x 75lbs
2x 95lbs
2x 105lbs
1x 115lbs Failed
The front squats were fun. I should have tried 155 again bacause I felt like I had more in the tank.
The rack jerks were new for me. It was a like a push press from behind the neck but with a jerk. This was a big mental game for me as I have a tendancy to push press rather than having the power come from the hips, which is the whole idea of the jerk. I know I could have done 115 but I was being a chiken. Oh well, next time :)
