After one month away from Crossfit Langley, I was more than ready to get back. The month of September flew by because of the golf tournament, 800kms on Tour and more than my fair share of relaxing. So when I tackled todays workout, it was no easy task. Coach started us off with 30 med ball situps done with a partner, or in our case, a threesome. At one point it was getting borderline violent as tim threw the ball to Jesse who just couldn't get in the groove. The rest of the workout looked like this:
30x DB pushpress 2x20 lbs
200m row
20 jumping pullups
300m row
30 abmat situps
400m row
40 pushups
500m row
40 air squats
600m row
20 jumping pullups
All for time of course, and I finished in 23:20. It was great to get back into a real WOD but man did I feel weak. On a positive note, I did all 40 pushups properly ( no knees) but my ROM was lacking. The pushups put a dent in my time as I had to stop often to rest. Overall a good experience and I'm looking forward to more every chance I get!
