Fight Gone Bad

This is my first attempt at FGB and I have to make a few mods as I dont have all the proper equipment in the Enforcer Box.

FGB is based on the following method: In this workout you move from each of five stations after a minute.The clock does not reset or stop between exercises. This is a five-minute round from which a one-minute break is allowed before repeating. On call of "rotate", the athletes must move to next station immediately for best score. One point is given for each rep, except on the rower where each calorie is one point. Add your points for total score.

Here`s the RX`d FGB:

Three rounds
Wall-ball, 20 pound ball, 10 ft target (Reps)
Sumo deadlift high-pull, 75 pounds (Reps)
Box Jump, 20" box (Reps)
Push-press, 75 pounds (Reps)
Row (Calories)

I dont have a wall ball or an oly bar so there could be no SDHP`s or Push Presses for me. I don`t even have a platform onto which I can jump or step! Here`s the details of my modifications...
Insead of wallballs, I did thrusters with a 16kg KB.
Instead of the SDHP`s with a bar, I did a SDHP with a 24Kg KB.
Insead of a box jump, I did double unders. (Box jumps would have been much easier!)
Instead of a push press, I did KB swings.
Row. I rowed as RX`d :)

Here is my modified FGB:

Three rounds

KB Thrusters 16kgs (Reps)
KB HP`s, 16kgs (Reps)
DU`s (Reps)
KB Swings, 16kgs (Reps)
Row (Calories)

My total was 210. I`m not sure if that`s good or bad because it`s my first attempt and I`m sure the fact that 80% of it was modified also skewed my results.








If that`s what it feels like to have a fight go bad, then I never want to be in a bad fight!

Sweet, nice work Jill. I love your modifications, way to be creative. John and I will be doing FGB modified this afternoon. We will do thrusters for wall ball and dumb bell push press for push press. We are waiting on a couple of pendlay bars, which would be nice to have right now. I would have liked to do Linda a couple days ago. Hopefully they will be here next week:) Looks like you had a full week of training and riding, the weather has been in your favour:)
